Dr.Hema Sivakumar is the chief consultant of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department of Preethi Hospitals Madurai. Completed graduation in 1994 and DGO in 1998 from Madurai Medical College, she pursued her masters in OBG and DNB(OG), MNAMS in 2006 at Madurai Medical College. She worked as an assistant Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Madurai Medical College from 2006 to 2008.
With 26 years of expertise in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, She had her Laparoscopic Training under Dr Hafeez Rahman, Kerala, and Ultrasound training from Dr Suresh, Chennai and has been operating all laparoscopic cases for more than 10 years. She completed her IVF training course and has an ART Clinic (State of art of Embryology Clinic). She has been performing infertility treatments since 2013 including IUI, IVF, ICSI, Embryo transfer, AIH, IUI-H, TESA, MESA, PESA, TESE, and Sexual Medicine approved by the Joint Director of Health Services, Madurai.
She has been enrolled as a life member of the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction, MOGS & FOGSI, and the Indian Fertility Society.
Awards
- She has bagged eight gold medals in M.D Post Graduation from the Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and also the Best Outgoing student in Post Graduation.
