There are certain disorders which are quite commonly seen in our part of the world like Cerebral Palsy, CTEV, Nutritional deformities, Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip, Residual polio and other congenital deformities.

Our compassionate and skilled Paediatric Or thopedic Department under Prof. Dr R. Sivakumar and Dr T.Vinoth is equipped with all the necessary equipment, skills and expertise to deal with all kinds of paediatric musculo skeletal problems. we routinely do casting and JESS for CTEV, Open release for DDH, Release and Tendon Transfer for CVT and Osteosynthesis for pediatric fractures and deformity correction. We can cater to all needs and provide a one-stop solution.

Foot & Ankle

Foot and ankle surgery has emerged as an established sub-speciality as it needs a Multidisciplinary approach by a team of Orthopaedic surgeons, Plastic surgeons, Diabetologists / podiatric surgeons and Paediatric Orthopaedicians.

Our team of experienced Surgeons and Physicians can give precise treatment for Complex Foot and Ankle injuries, Sports injuries, Deformities in children and Diabetic foot. By early diagnosis and initiation of treatment lot of unwanted surgeries have been avoided.

The clinical activity of the emerging sup speciality of the Foot and Ankle Department has sharply increased from 2018 to 2022. This rise in clinical activity is due to the excellent results that we achieve with our holistic approach precise clinical judgement and early decision-making.

Orthopaedics Academic Department

Preethi hospitals have been recognised by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University to conduct Post Doctoral Fellowship Programmes since 2013.

It has been Accredited by the National Board of Examination – Medical Sciences (NBEMS) since 2018 for conducting the DNB Post Graduate course Orthopaedics.

We regularly conduct academic programs like yearly CMEs, Updates and conferences with highly valued and well-attended scientific content.

The Fellowship programme provides ample exposure and surgical training in Arthroscopy, Spine surgery and Joint replacement. The Fellows have abundant opportunities and hands-on surgical training offered under the supervision and guidance of world-renowned faculty. The Department encourages the Fellows to take part in State and National Conferences with Paper presentations. our institute’s academic program is sought after and highly valued by the trainees, and our alumni doctors are practising all over India.
