Main duties of the job

The principal role of the post is to run and develop outpatient and inpatient Accident & Emergency medicine service, emergency critical care, emergency interventions like Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and stabilisation, Chest tube insertions, initiating and maintanence of life support measures like intubation and ventilation, IABP, RRT etc, In Hospital and Out of Hospital transfer of critically ill patients, formulation, development and execution of MAJAX plans. Setting up and formalising specialist services like Poisoning and Toxicology services will be encouraged and supported.

 Qualifications

1.  Post Graduate Training (MD)in Accident & Emergency Medicine

3. ACLS provider/Instructor
4. ATLS provider / Instructor

Clinical Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience is desirable.

Main duties of the job

The principal role of the post is to run and develop outpatient and inpatient cardiology service, cardiac critical care, cardiac interventions like doing coronary angiograms, primary and scheduled angioplasties, interventional procedures for valvular /vascular / congential cardiac diseases, insertion and management of pacemakers and other electrophysiological procedures. Setting up and formalising specialist services like Heart Failure clinics and management of cardiac assist devices (IABP, VAD, ECMO) and cardiac transplant services will be encouraged and supported.

2. Superspeciality (DM) Training in Cardiology

Clinical Experience

We are recruiting for the position of full-time, consultant Medical Gastroenterologist. 

Main duties of the job

The principal role of the post is to run and develop outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology and Hepatology service including critical care. The applicant is responsible for delivering diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures and to deliver upper and lower day case gastroenterology services, including management of GI bleeding, treating upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions and the ability to offer an expert opinion on a range of problems in elective gastroenterology

 Experience in preparing and managing patients for Liver transplantation is desirable.

Setting up and formalising specialist services and Bone Marrow transplant services will be encouraged and supported.

Main duties of the job

The principal role of the post is to run and develop outpatient and inpatient Neurology service, Neuro critical care, Neuro interventions. Setting up and formalising specialist services Epilepsy clinics, Stroke units, Parkinsons disease clinics, and management of Neurodevelopmental defect will be encouraged and supported. Coordination and close liaison with Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic & spine surgery department for effective management of Neurotrauma and spinal injuries is strongly expected.

Main duties of the job

We are recruiting for the position of full-time, consultant Urologist. 

The principal role of the post is to run and develop outpatient and inpatient Urology and andrology service including Renal Transplantation surgery. The applicant is responsible for delivering diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower genitourinary endoscopy procedures, including percutaneous procedures for Renal Stone Disease like Nephrostomy, PCNL etc and to deliver day case urology and lithotripsy services, including management and treatment all types of  nephrourological conditions and the ability to offer an expert opinion on a range of problems in elective urology

 The post-holder will share responsibilities with their fellow consultant colleagues especially nephrologist for the provision of inpatient care and acceptance of referrals, outpatient clinic provision and appropriate imaging and reporting duties. Experience in preparing and managing patients for renal transplantation is desirable.

Qualifications

1. Post Graduate Training MS / DNB in General Surgery
2. Superspeciality  Mch / DNB Training in Urology
3. Fellowships / Subspeciality Training / Experience are preferable

Clinical Experience

1. Wide experience in general adult / Paediatric Urology
2. Sub-speciality interests / Experience in Transplantation Surgery / Uro oncology surgery are preferable.
